The ROAR is being organised by Total Experience - www.totalexperience.ie

The individuals involved in the planning and running of the Achill ROAR include two of Ireland's top performing adventure racers (Paul Mahon and Brian Keogh) whos' cumulative sucesses in 2009 include wins in the Blessington Adventure race, 3 day National Adventure Marathon, Blackrock Challenge, Kilbroney Challenge, 24 hour Cooley Raid, 36 hour Beast of Ballyhoura events and other top placings including CLEC (2nd overall and 1st mixed), Belfast Rat Race (2nd) and Galeforce West (3rd overall & 1st O 40).

Further expertise in the event organising team is be provided by Ciaran "Kipper" Maguire who has been to the forefront of the Irish Freestyle Kayak scene as both a competitor and part of the management team for the past ten years.

Our aim is to provide an affordable and enjoyable event for both the "racers" and those that are looking for a new adventurous challenge and we expect all to be swept away by the beauty of the course and to leave Achill looking forward to their next visit.

We had a very successful event in 2009 we believe (Checkout the feedback on Boards.ie) and we look forward to seeing you and more of you family and friends for some more challenge and adventure in Achill in September 2010
