The 2010 West Wicklow Roar will take place on Sat 22nd May

WHAT:  Multisport Event -Combination of Kayaking, Road Biking and Off Road Running.

WHERE:  Event will be based in the scenic Blessington Lakes area of West Wicklow.
The event will start and finish at the Tulfaris Hotel just south of Blessington on the lakeshore.

WHY:  
Excellent organisation, warm local welcome, many superb sights, challenging terrain and a great value for money event for all.

The discipline’s for the West Wicklow ROAR event are:

• Running – All off road
• Cycling – On Tarmac suitable for any type of bike
• Paddling a Sit on Top Kayak (Kayaks Equip Supplied - You may bring your own Paddle and PFD but NOT your Own Kayak)

Sport Solo:

Kayak 1000m
Bike 11.5 km
Off Road run ~ 7km
Bike 10.5km

Expert Solo and Expert Relay Teams: 

Kayak 2000m
Bike 10.5km
Off Road Run 7km
Bike 18km
Offroad Run 7km
Bike 16.5km

This year we are also holding the second edition of the very successful Achill Roar event based in Achill, Co Mayo on Sat 11th Sept 2010
