The ROAR is being organised by Total Experience - www.totalexperience.ie and Multisport Adventure Ireland - www.msai.ie
The individuals involved in the planning and running of the ROAR include two of Ireland's top performing adventure racers (Paul Mahon and Brian Keogh) who's sucesses in 2009 included wins in the 3 day National Adventure Marathon, Blackrock Challenge, 36 hour Beast of Ballyhoura, Blessington Adventure Race, Kilbroney Challenge, Cooley Raid and top placings in CLEC (2nd overall & 1st Mixed), Belfast Rat Race (2nd) and Galeforce 6 (3rd overall & 1st O 40).
Further expertise in the event organising team will be provided by Ciaran "Kipper" Maguire who has been to the forefront of the Irish Freestyle Kayak scene as both a competitor and part of the management team for the past ten years.
Our aim is to provide an affordable and enjoyable event for both the "racers" and those that are looking for a new adventurous challenge and we expect all to be swept away by the beauty of the course and to leave West Wicklow looking forward to their next visit.
We look forward to seeing you for some Adventure in West Wicklow on May 22nd
